Blimey, what a stonkin night.. Thanks to all of u that came along and made my night the great night it was. The ruffled shirt and crazy afro seemed to go down a treat. Memory is a bit low on details from the end of the evening, but as you can see from the pics, i did indeed fall asleep with my leg up on a wall!! I know.. I know!! I was flicking through the rubbish Monday night terrestrial tv channels last night and I stumbled and drooled upon the lovely Tess Daly on that reality TV thing on Channel5. I paused for a moment to admire her unproportionately large mouth and bresticles.. when I got shouted at by the ladies in the room!! No.. not for perving over Tess, no.. but for helping "that shit reality tv thing achieve higher viewing figures"!! I argued that no one in the world would know I was watching it and that I’m sure they base them figures on a percentage of households, whom they do keep records on what they're watching. But.. no.. "They know your watching that fat Rick Waller and Jade and all that.." .. Well.. I had to check today.. and of course - I was correct. Well.. thats that over and done with!!!... On sunday, I got up at 7am had a massive brekky and made my way down to south London for my 2nd Brown belt grading. Warming up for a few hours and eyeing up the competition, I was feeling good. It turns out I got paired up with a big bloke, around 6'4".. which was good.. a proper test (also meant I didnt have to fight my friend Martin, who drove me there!) We were called up to do our forms, then throws and floor sparring.. At this point I wasnt sure whether the bloke was the full ticket, as he didnt seem to know when it was his turn to attack or defend etc - which kinda made me look bad! Soo.. when we were called up to freesparring, I wasnt worried.. and wanted to prove myself. After a few good kicks, jabs and spurns, the guy was scared of me and not attacking at all. Half the crowd were cheering him on as he was being pummelled, and half were shouting for me to "finish him"!!! I somehow managed to kick him in the face even with his headguard on, which led to some blood! Oops!! I stayed controlled and didnt steam-in too much on the poor guy - as he seemed a bit dazed! When we finished, he got taken off to the nurse, and I was told off by various instructors.. FOR NOT ATTACKING HIM ENOUGH!!! The next fights were the same, told off for being too nice and not killing people! I didnt feel nice at the time! Maybe I havent got that killer instinct in me!? Why beat up people to a pulp?.. Hmm.. NEway.. Over the course of my fights on Sunday I only got hit twice that I remember.. and have lived to tell the tale - so all in all it went pretty spiffingly! Now onto practising chopping bricks, punching tiles and kicking wood, as well as 2-on-1 for my blackbelt in 12weeks time!!! Rarr..
